B2ST's HyunSeung's Father passed away

It was just reported that the father of B2ST‘s Hyunseung has passed away.

A Cube Entertainment representative revealed “Hyunseung’s father passed away during the night because of a heart attack.”


He continued, “Hyunseung was shocked after hearing the news, as his father had no history of any long term illness. He is currently with his mother and younger sister.”

The body is currently at a hospital in Gyeonggi Province and the funeral procession will be held on the 22nd. With the unfortunate event, B2ST is reported to have put a hold on their schedules for the time being.

Our hearts go out to Hyunseung and his family for their unfortunate loss. May his father rest in peace.

Cube Entertainment revels new male idols group 'BTOB'

Cube Entertainment, the agency that houses to popular artists B2ST, 4minute and G.NA, will soon debut a new 7-member male idol group called BTOB (pronounced as "B to B")

The agency launches their official website btobofficial.com and revealed an "ID FILM" teaser to announce the new group that has joined their family. The teaser states, “The wait is over. Be ready to be blown away. The world of K-Pop is about to change. Cube Entertainment proudly presents BTOB (Born To Beat).”

The video features the members of BTOB showcasing impressive dancing skills with their tutting, acrobatic styles, and sharp moves. However, the member's faces are kept hidden hidden beneath their masks.

BTOB will be releasing their first track on March 22nd to mark their debut, and the members will be revealed one by one.

Cameo preview of Taeyeon, L, and Junhyung for 'Salamander Guru'

A trailer for the February 10th episode of SBS sitcom "Salamander Guru" has been revealed, featuring the cameo appearances of Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, INFINITE's L and BEAST's Junhyung.

Taeyeon will play the daughter of a wealthy family, who escaped from home to avoid discussing her arranged marriage. Soon after, Taeyeon falls in love with the genius hacker Minhyuk (SHINee's Minho) and tries her best to captivate him.

BEAST's Junhyung and INFINITE's L will play the roles of Joker and L, respectively. They’ve stolen many expensive pictures with Minhyuk, who is nicknamed “Shadow,” breaking security systems at rich people’s houses. Unlike Minhyuk, who wants to let go of his past, Joker and L are still living in the dark world.

Further Details About Taeyeon's Upcoming Cameo Appearance on SBS's 'Salamander Guru and the Gang'

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will make a surprise appearance on SBS sitcom, “Salamander Guru and the Gang”.

On February 10th, there will be a scene where genius hacker Minhyuk (played by SHINee’s Minho), who is searching for his father, almost kisses the daughter of a wealthy family, played by Taeyeon.

In order to avoid discussing her arranged marriage, Taeyeon escapes her home by going out a window and climbing down a pole. Taeyeon falls from the window and lands on top of Minhyuk, who is busy investigating below. Soon after, Taeyeon falls in love with Minhyuk and tries her best to captivate the cold Minhyuk by talking with a lisp (Editors note: It’s implying that Taeyeon is trying to talk with aegyo), using eye smiles and showing other types of aegyo.

Minho stated, “Taeyeon’s appearance was greatly supportive to me. Despite her tight schedule appearing on the US CBS talk show and performing in Paris, she did not refuse the overnight filming. I am deeply thankful for her supporting me throughout the numerous shoots.” The staff also stated, “Taeyeon’s first acting attempt was good. Her lines and expressions were all perfect. With Taeyeon’s appearance, other male staff members, along with Minho, were able to work more energetically than ever.”

Meanwhile, in this episode, BEAST’s Yong Junhyung and INFINITE’s L will also be making cameo appearances along with Taeyeon.

Winner from the 26th Golden Disk Awards [ part 1]

On January 11th, many of Korea’s top musicians and pop stars gathered at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka for the 26th Golden Disk Awards.

This year, the show was divided into two parts: the first part (held on January 11th) honors the winners of the physical album categories, while the second party (held on January 12th) will do the same for digital albums. KARA‘s Park Gyuri and Super Junior‘s Leeteuk acted as MCs for this year’s awards.

The first ‘Golden Disk Awards’ began in 1986, and since then, it’s become Korea’s most prestigious awards ceremony for music. Nicknamed the ‘Korean Grammy Awards,’ the ceremony is reputed for its fair standards, as the committee utilizes figures from album and digital music sales only.

The new dou unit of B2ST's HyunSeung and 4minutes's HyunA, Trouble Maker, has recently made their debut and continued to hype their fans making them the talk of the town these days. On December 5th, Mnet Japan's "Exciting CUBE TV' revealed the behind the scenes footage of the making of their hot music video.

In Contrast of the huge hit seductive music video, the BTS footage the other side of them. The video showcase a more fresh atmosphere  which showed their adorable and playful sides.

Yahoo Japan Ranks Top 20 Most Searched Foreign Stars

The Japaneses version of Yahoo recently listed its top 20 foreign search term of the past year, and has revealed that most of them are Korean pop stars. Next to solo artists Lady Gaga and Avril Lavigne, the whole top 20 consists of Korean Artists. Starting of with Girls' Generation on top of the list, KARA took a second spot. TVXQ came in a third place as most seach foreign boy group and was closely followed by actor and occasional singer Jang Geun Seuk. Lady Gaga closed the top 5 with her presence. Actress Kim Tae Hee is the odd one out in the list, as she's the only person not known for a singing career.

B2ST's HyunSeung is making his twitter followers laugh with his latest selca.

On November 24th, Jang HyunSeung tweeted, "Potongryung style~" before attaching a selca of his Pororo-inspired fashion.

In the picture, Jang HyunSeung sports thick, glasses that look similar to Pororo's trademark frames. His 'charming dork' look was further heightened by his long, pink scarf and funny expression.

The 26th Golden Disk Awards, a Korean style Grammys is just around the corner! The event will be held in Osaka, Japan at the Kyocera Dome. The nominees for all categories are announced.

HyunA And HyunSeung's Duo Unit Opens Teaser Website

Cube Entertainment has previously announced the collaboration of 4minute's HyunA and B2ST's HyunSeung. The two member will be teaming up to form a duo unit "Trouble Maker".

On November 25th, Cube opened up an official website for the duo unit which showcased HyunA and HyunSeung in their different sequence of poses. The website also features countdown timer on its 

background heading to December 1st which is the scheduled date of the album's releases.

4Minute HyunA & B2ST HyunSeung To Form Duo Unit

4minute's HyunA and B2ST's HyunSeung will be teaming up to form a duo unit "Trouble Maker".

On November 24th, Cube Entertainment announced the collaboration through their official website. The agency also unveiled the unit's album jacket photo for their self-titled mini album "Trouble Maker". 

The photo features a private-party concept which showcases HyunA and HyunSeung dresses in their classy black suits.

"Trouble Maker" will contain both dance and ballad track that display HyunSeung's vocals and HyunA's rapping skills. The album is set to release on December 1st.

The unit's first teaser photo will be revealed through their teaser website tomorrow.
